Having worked within financial services for some 15 plus years, during which time I have achieved the prestigious Chartered Financial Planner and Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute standards, showing my commitment to my profession and our clients.
I am responsible for the overall strategy and direction of Consilium Wealth Management Ltd. I also work with companies and their Directors, supporting them in offering workplace solutions to their employees.
Out of work, my time is largely spent with my young daughter, which usually involves being at the stables or dancing - my daughter, not me!
I have worked in the financial services industry for some 20 years, the majority of which has been spent with high street banks, in both an advisory and management capacity, then joining a large St. James's Place Partner Practice in 2013.
Establishing Consilium Wealth Management Ltd has allowed me to focus on my strong belief that every client is unique; my overall responsibility is for the delivery of our client service proposition, our client service charter that we pride ourselves on and ensuring each client is treated as an individual with differing needs and goals. I enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients, both individuals and businesses, to help them achieve their objectives and aspirations, I offer advice on all aspects of financial planning, ensuring that a personalised and finely tuned plan is implemented.
In addition, I am responsible for all our staff development through training, mentoring and embedding our processes, to not only help our staff reach their full potential but to also ensure our client experience is of the highest standard.
I am kept busy outside of work with my two young daughters and enjoy spending my time away from the office with family and when I get the time, running and going to the gym, which doesn't happen as often as I would like!
Having ‘retired’ just 3 months ago I recently met with the Directors, Wayne and Hannah who had been advising myself (and business partner) financially for several years allowing me to take 'early' retirement!
It came to light that they were looking for support with developing their business further and had identified a role for a Business Development Manager. Look no further!
Impressed with their vision, drive and enthusiasm for Consilium I offered my services... and the rest is history!
Having left school I served Queen and Country enjoying (mainly) a successful 23 year career in the Army, On leaving I then went on to own and operate a franchise for a further 19 years with The Property Search Group covering the Manchester area. I was responsible for the business development, sales and marketing of one the most successful (multi award winning) franchise offices in the country, winning Franchisee of the Year several times along with various local and national business awards. Something I am extremely proud of.
I love networking and meeting new people, especially if I can help, I also love learning and I am really looking forward to this latest challenge with Consilium
In my spare time I am swimming, cycling or running, training for Ironman Triathlons and other events. I also enjoy the time spent with my 2 year old granddaughter on 'Granddaddy Day Care' duty. Love it.
I have worked in the financial services industry for 6 years, previously working for a large investment bank. After graduating university with a BA (Hons) degree in Financial Services, Planning and Management, I joined a local IFA practice, assisting the paraplanning team. During this time, I completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
I have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, which ensures that all clients continue to receive the excellent levels of service that Consilium Wealth Management Ltd strives to achieve.
My current role in Consilium Wealth Management Ltd is to assist the Directors and prepare written recommendations, after undertaking the appropriate technical analysis.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the gym and watching football.
My role as Administrator at Consilium is to support the team in processing cases efficiently and provide back-office support to ensure all client work is dealt with effectively. My aim is to provide an excellent level of service to our clients.
